What we do

Konsort is a TikTok Shop service partner. We manage TikTok Shop operations, affiliate programmes, short video and LIVE commerce for brands ("Clients"), and we run software that reads Client shop data from TikTok Shop with the Client's authorisation.

Data we process

  1. Client contact data: names, work emails, phone numbers of Client staff, collected when a Client signs up or authorises us.
  2. Client shop data from TikTok Shop, read through the TikTok Shop Open API after the Client authorises our app: shop performance, product, video, LIVE, affiliate collaboration, promotion and finance statement data. We do not request buyer personal data (names, addresses, phone numbers) and our app does not hold the API scope that returns it.
  3. Creator data: public TikTok creator profiles and performance data we use to find and manage affiliate creators for Clients.
  4. Website data: standard server logs and analytics on konsortsocial.com.

Why we process it

To deliver the services in our agreement with each Client, to report performance to the Client, to improve the Client's results, and to meet legal obligations. The legal basis is performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in running the service.

Where it goes

Client shop data is stored in a database hosted by Supabase (AWS, us-east-1, United States) and processed by applications hosted on Vercel. Access is limited to Konsort staff working on that Client's account. We do not sell data. We share data only with the Client it belongs to, with sub-processors needed to run the service (hosting, email, task management), and when the law requires.

How long we keep it

For the length of the Client agreement plus 12 months, unless the Client asks us to delete it sooner or the law requires longer. When a Client revokes our TikTok Shop authorisation we stop reading their shop data immediately and delete stored access tokens within 7 days.

Your rights

Clients and individuals can ask what data we hold, ask for correction or deletion, or object to processing by emailing info@konsortsocial.com. We answer within 30 days. UK and EU individuals have the rights set out in UK GDPR and GDPR, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. TikTok Shop access tokens are encrypted with a separate application key before storage. See our Security page for the measures we maintain.
